- CCheryllEssex •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis in my opinion is the best Chinese restaurant ever. Staff are very attentive and extremely friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and well laid out. The food is amazing and they also allow you to switch items on their set menus which is great. I go here with my partner and also family and friends. Every body we take there has always had a wonderful experienceMore infoBanquet ChinesePrice: Expensive• Cantonese• Colchester•4.6
- AAlexEssex •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe chose black rock for my sons 18th birthday meal. The food was fantastic, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was great. The table for 4 was a little small and 2 of us had to straddle the table leg but that didn't deter from our experience. Definitely worth choosing the stone over cooked to order was the consensus.More infoBlack Rock RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Steak• Clacton-On-Sea•4.8

- SSimonLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHad a wonderful time at The Ivy Canterbury. We arrived early but were seated immediately. The restaurant was busy but not too noisy and the decor and ambience was excellent. Our waitress Millie, was very friendly and quick to attend to our needs. Food and drinks were bought to us in a timely manner and the food was excellent (the Ivy Snowman quite something although I'd recommend to share). Despite the place being busy and a clear demand for tables, at no point did we feel rushed and after we finished our meal and settled the bill, we moved to the bar to have a few more drinks at our leisure where once again the mixologists were chatty and friendly and able to make a multitude of cocktails of our choosing without having to check how to make them. The food and drink were on the pricier side but you get what you pay for and the bill was not unreasonable for what we received. As a Canterbury resident, I think I have a new favourite restaurant/bar.More infoThe Ivy, CanterburyPrice: Moderate• British• Canterbury•4.3
