Excellent dishes plus a very good and most polite and prompt service. Having asked in advance for a table by a window, we we were taken to an excellent table in a corner of the restaurant , with a splendid view over the marshes. We have been to the White Horse several times before. and without doubt we shall be there again. Well done White Horse! Best wishes, Anthony Cooper

We had a lovely unhurried lunch and found the food delicious, carefully presented and the portions just right. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff friendly and the far-reaching view beyond the lake was lovely, even in January. My friend was pleasantly surprised to find that her cottage pie had been made with chopped rather than minced beef and told me it was delicious. I really enjoyed the vegan curry, particularly the textures and it was nice to see that the ingredients were locally sourced, including some from their own kitchen gardens. We hope to be back again soon.

Fantastic as always! Delicious food, staff all lovely and wonderful as always. We’ve been many times and can’t fault it at all :) My autistic daughter chose to come here for her birthday because she said it always feels calm even when it’s busy, which I fully agree with!

An amazing evening of tapas! The food is absolutely spot on - tasty and the bowls are the right size for sharing. There were four adults and we ordered ten dishes which was the perfect number to fill us up. My favourite was the aubergine with honey and almonds. A really great meal and lively atmosphere.

We had the festive menu on Boxing Day. It was outstanding. Not only the food, but the staff too. Glenn and his team were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. We were looked after extremely well. Couldn’t fault the food or the service at all.
