- TtracieLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat a remarkable surprise to find such an elegant yet unpretentious restaurant that is not trying to hard while achieving extraordinary flavors and combinations of ingredients. Vermont is a bit of a gourmet food desert so this is a true gem because there is no attempt to make food with foam or tweezers or eye droppers. Just exquisitely Source ingredients that shineMore infoThe Reluctant Panther RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Manchester•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerVermont •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoRoots is that place you never are wrong for going to. The food and drinks are not only amazing, but insanely consistent every single time. The staff are inviting, knowledgeable, and simply on top of their game every single day. As someone who has travelled far and wide, Roots should be on everyone’s list of go-to’s. In terms of restaurants in the greater Rutland area, this should always be a first choice on anyone’s list.More infoRoots The RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Rutland•4.6

We had to flag our server down to order wine with dinner and dinner came before the wine arrived. Not a huge deal as our server was responsive when we flagged him,More infoCopper Grouse - Taconic HotelPrice: Expensive• American• Manchester•4.4
- MMatthewPhiladelphia County •32 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024We ate at the Dorset Inn restaurant several times, as we were staying there. Service is always very attentive. Reservations are honored in a timely fashion. Burgers, pastas, salads, specials, etc. were all excellent. The dining room and the pub can be a little more noisy than the large cozy dining room. You can eat at the bar. There’s a nice roaring fireplace in the pub area as well.More infoDorset InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Dorset•4.7
- TTriciavipNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 11, 2024The food at Barrows House is consistently amazing. Tonight we had mallard duck (fantastic), scallops with risotto, salmon and the delicious tuna poke nachos to start. Because it was a Monday in stick season, the restaurant volume was quiet. A lovely change. It’s usually bustling and loud which isn’t bad, just different. Thanks to the Barrows House staff for a great evening. Highly recommend.More infoBarrows HousePrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Dorset•4.6
