Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients.     The only disappointment was that the rotisserie chicken was off, probably the main reason to visit the restaurant. However the food we did have was of a very good quality. Very good flavours, well developed. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

    Our first visit and what a superb find the Live & Let Live Inn has been. The meal was outstanding, the welcome warm and friendly. I can honestly say that I have never had such tender chicken livers and the Pork chop that followed was sublime. We have talked about our lunch constantly since visiting. The rice pudding is to die for. I recommend the Inn unhesitatingly and will book a table the moment that we return the area. Thank you for an exceptional meal.
