From the moment we made our reservation to the time we walked out the door, everything screamed top-notch service and class. The staff? Absolute pros. Special shoutout to our amazing waiter, Tash, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home and patiently guided us through the menu. We trusted her recommendations blindly, and wow, did she deliver! Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks. We kicked off the evening with cocktails, and they were spot on—balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor. For the mains, we opted for pasta and steak, both of which were perfection on a plate. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and generously portioned. And the grand finale? Their signature dessert, which wasn’t just worth the hype—it exceeded it. First time for us. Waiter patiently guided us in the concept and menu. All dishes were different and exceptionally good. A very good food experience helped by service. Also kudos for the wine list reasonableness and excellent house wines for quality and value

A Thursday night was a good time. Steady and not packed. Food was good but not overwhelmingly delicious. We had the squid which was the best dish of the night. The curry linguine was good although it had too many sprouts. The Thai noodle dish was also good but fairly spicy. We will go again and try other food.

The service from the hostess stand to the server were outstanding as always. The food is always tasty and consistent at Barbarella no matter what you order. I appreciate suggestions or alternatives from the wait staff. They always know how to make the food next level.

I had a lovely birthday celebration here with my family. When we got to the table, I was welcomed with a cute birthday card signed by the staff. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. Only downside was that we found our area to be slightly too loud in terms of crowd noise. But overall a wonderful experience. Definitely a must when in Calgary
