All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine. We had a very pleasant experience at Franny’s. The food was cooked to perfection. The ambience was exactly what we were looking for - very cozy. Staff was attentive and polite. We will absolutely be back next time we’re in Camden!

Siting at the cozy bar, I enjoyed a nice French red to accompany a wonderful beet salad, with a bright Meyer lemon note & then continued w/the house made (so flavorful!) venison sausage. I also indulged in their financier for dessert w/home-made ice cream. A lovely meal w/excellent & friendly service.

It took a month to get in and it was worth it. I had frequented the pond house when I was young (35 yrs ago) and I had been wanting to get back. It was as good as I remember. Staff got us in earlier than our reservation time, waitstaff were friendly and welcoming and the popovers and jam are the best I’ve had! Definitely worth the visit/experience.
