- DDanVIPChicago / Illinois •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were surprised to be seated at the counter overlooking the kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The chefs and front-of-house teams are amazing to watch in action. Every dish is so flavorful and creative and you never know what is coming next from your selections. Just note, it can get very loud since orders are being called out in addition to the already energetic restaurant behind you if you're seated in this location. Another great dinner at Girl & the Goat!More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8
- JJulieIowa •20 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was one of my top five dining experiences ever! We got kitchen counter seating which I love- being right in the mix and chatting with the chefs is my jam! Cocktails were on point but the food…. I mean come on!!!! We had zucchini fritters, a butternut squash filled pasta dish that had this amazing rich and subtly sweet sauce, roasted beets with this crazy pop of pomegranate and risotto with a taleggio fonduta that I will be dreaming about for a very long time! Bravo, rose mary- you killed it!!!!More infoRose MaryPrice: Expensive• Croatian• West Loop•4.8
- RRyanChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat an amazing dinner experience! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and very well decorated. The drinks were top notch, and high quality. We started with the arancini, which was crunchy, the rice was a perfect texture, and it had just the perfect amount of cheese. The table bread was on another level. It had subtle sweet notes, which consisted of honey and orange. I had the tagliatelle. The short rib was moist and very tender, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My wife had the rigatoni, and she said the pasta was cooked perfectly as well, and the vodka sauce was very creamy and had excellent flavor. The tiramisu was just on another level! I have already recommended Alla Vita to 3 other people in the last 2 days! A must visit......I would give 6 stars if I could!More infoAlla VitaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• West Loop•4.8

It was my first visit and my server gets an A+ for her recommendations! I dined alone and the atmosphere and ambiance was welcoming and un rushed. And my meal was scrumptious! - LLisaChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024We came over to check in about 15 mins before our reservations and we were seared immediately. Everyone was so friendly and polite. The place was decorated beautifully. We love the fairies that come around to the table no matter how old you are. They were so sweet and make the experience even more enjoyable. Our waiter was wonderful so attentive, never having to look for him, always refilling our glasses and providing prompt and friendly service. Food came out quick and was very good. We never felt rushed. We were able to go by the tree and take pictures. It was just a fabulous time. We had our first experience there last year and now we’ve made this an annual tradition. We look forward to many more years to come.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
