We were there to celebrate my fiancé’s 24th birthday, and from the moment we walked in, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. The staff went above and beyond to make the night special, starting with a warm greeting and a surprise birthday acknowledgment for my fiancé. The food was phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We started with the calamari as our appetizer, it was the best I have ever had. I got the Grilled Mahi as my entree and my fiancé got the Chef’s special (Swordfish). Both dishes were above and beyond. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into each plate. What truly stood out, though, was the personal touches. At the end of the meal, the staff brought out a complimentary dessert for my fiancé. We also enjoyed complementary champagne with our meals. This was our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last. Pier W made this milestone birthday celebration absolutely perfect, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. If you’re looking for amazing food, stellar service, and an unforgettable experience, this is the place to go!More infoPier WPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lakewood•4.8

From the cocktails through the starters and the mains, we have never had a bad plate - ever. Tremendous quality and attention to detail. Our server was attentive and notified us as first time dinners that two complimentary table wine tastings were included. The menu is extensive and organized with wine pairings for each menu item making wine selections much easier. The food presentation was appealing and flavorful. Our table ordered the Tuna, Mahi-mahi and Pork chops and would highly recommend these selections. The “Coopers Hawk Red” wine topped off all the meals, even the fish. Our first impression of Coopers Hawk was fantastic and will definitely return.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Avon, OH - Chester RoadPrice: Moderate• American• Avon / Avon Lake•4.7

The lunch menu is compact, but had lots of options whether you want something light, or a full dinner-like meal. I will definitely go back.More infoThe Cabin ClubPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Cleveland West•4.8
- SSamanthaCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoMy family of 6 has been here twice, but I came alone with my husband a third time, so we have been around this block a few times. Of those three times, and a combination of 14 different plates of food over each time, we got something we genuinely enjoyed just once (as in, 1 person enjoyed their food). The kids’ plates are always drowned in sauce (literally the sauce was spilling off the plate for no reason when the meal itself was so little) with not much of whatever pasta was ordered. My husband and I did get quite large portions of each adult meal we ordered; that’s where the price excuse ends. The food tastes generic at best. They decorate their meals nicely but it does not help the flavor whatsoever. Bland is the best word I can use. I took a bite of chicken off my husband’s dish once, and was SHOCKED that it tasted like it had been microwaved from frozen. I had to spit it out. The best thing I can say is they do cook the pasta well; it’s never overdone or underdone like a lot of places struggle with. They’re consistent with presentation. For how beautiful it is in there, and with how friendly the staff are, it’s really a shame that the best part of the meal is the free bread at the beginning. I wanted so badly to love this place (hence why we have spent well into the hundreds over multiple trips here) but the price just isn’t worth it for the quality of the food. If you just want a gorgeous place to chat and sip wine, this is the venue for you! If you’re looking for excellent, better-than-Olive-Garden Italian cuisine, you won’t find that here. Alfredo sauce tastes like it came from a jar, their shrimp scampi dish just tastes like lemons, and the tortellini gets so much tomato dumped on it you have to scoop them out to even taste the thin sauce it comes with. The Chick A Boom dish was the only one we enjoyed, but that was the one with the microwaved tasting chicken too.More infoSortino's Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Sandusky•4.4
