Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. Dominic's has been honored by DIRONA, 2001 Restaurant Hall of Fame, 1999 International Award of Excellence, The Epicurean Award & was voted one of the two best Italian Restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.     Initially I was reluctant to go here since it is a hotel restaurant but the weather was not good so we went. Good choice! My wife got the burrata caprese salad and I had mushroom and black truffle soup. The caprese was delicate and the soup was rich and perfectly prepared. For main courses my wife had la classics lasagna napoletana, which was firm and deeply meaty, quite delicious. I had the tagliatelle don Alfronso, which was to die for. The sauce with their home grown tomatoes was exquisitely sweet and the home made pasta perfect. I’m of Italian ancestry and have been eating Italian food my whole life and I cannot recall something this delicious, even when we’ve been in Sorrento. The service was attentive and helpful and the owner interested in our thoughts. Highly recommended.

    Food and service were excellent. Menu choices made it hard to decide what order. Eventually decided on the sea bass special and was delicious. More food than I could eat in one sitting. Cesar salad and cannoli for dessert made for a perfect dinner.

    We had an incredible dining experience! Justin was super thoughtful. He knew we were splitting one of the meals and had the kitchen do two separate plates. He brought out a special drink for our 21yo birthday as well as let them pick a dessert! We love Olive + Oak! Justin was the perfect server for us!
