Little Italy was built by the fishing industry. Ironside attempts to continue that narrative. It's our contemporary interpretation of the classic fish house and oyster bar. Located in a historic auction house on India St we did a full comprehensive restoration of the building, with three open-air culinary hubs featuring an expansive raw bar, chefs table, and bakery. We tried to be mindful of the past while looking towards the future. Groups of 6 or more will be charged an automatic 20% gratuity.     Callie is one of, if not the, best restaurants in San Diego. Fine dining has shifted post-COVID but Callie does everything at a consistently high level. The food is interesting, layered, often surprising, and delicious. Wine and cocktails are similarly high quality and creative. Service is outstanding. Now this is what you would expect for a restaurant probably averaging $150 per person but, if you love restaurants, you know you can pay that price in San Diego and not have a satisfying experience. My wife and I ate at Callie recently for our anniversary. Staff had a handwritten card for us thanking us for celebrating at their restaurant. It's the extra, above-and-beyond that makes Callie great.

    Came for my husband’s birthday and had the best time! I worked with the management in advance to make sure the night was extra special! They curated an individualized menu for us AND they made a personal cake just for my husband! It was a wonderful night! Our waitress was amazing, the staff was attentive, and the manager (Serena) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! 10/10 recommend!!!
