For many years, the Kula Lodge has been a favorite for both visitors and Kama'aina alike for delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of Maui. Perched high on the slopes of Haleakala with a 180 degree view of Maui, the Kula Lodge and Restaurant is a comfortable and homey place to relax, especially on your way down from the sunrise or sunset at the crater. It is situated on 4 lovely acres and not only has a stunning botanical garden, it has the only full-service bar and live music in Kula. It's also the only place upcountry with dancing (on Friday and Saturday nights)!The restaurant seats up to 160 guests, making it ideal for weddings and special events. The Kula Lodge outdoor Garden Terrace features a brick wood-burning pizza oven and an open view of south, central and the Maui mountains. The sunset views are absolutely phenomenal! Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5-7 have live entertainment; Friday & Saturday evenings from 5-8pm have live entertainment AND dancing!

Aloha, we are open daily from 11:00am to 10:00pm, with our last seating available at 9:45pm. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).     We had a Filet Mignon cooked to perfection and the house made Pappardelle served in a wonderfully delicious ragu made beef and venison. Indescribably delicious. The double chocolate cake for dessert was heavenly. We will definitely plan to return soon to this up country gem.

    Amazing farm to table food made in house. Absolutely delicious. The potstickers and lobster deviled eggs for sure for appetizer and fresh fish of the day was stunning. Maria was also fabulous in her service and attentiveness. She made great recommendations and made our experience that much better! Highly recommend

    Really good food! Little warm for me but not unpleasant. The signature cocktail (Mai tai?) was delicious and they called it a different name and it definitely wasn’t a traditional Mai tai. $180 for 6 of us seemed like a lot but also not unreasonable for Maui. Awesome place to stop for lunch after a pineapple tour across the street.

    Outstanding experience. The food was delicious and well presented. The portions were plenty and the service was outstanding. The location next to the beach was awesome and seeing the sunset was special. The humas, wedge salad and chicken and ribs were fabulous. A perfect setting for a Hawaiian dinner. Long live Duke K.

    My previous experience was terrible! This was shortly after they opened and the food was horrible. Gave it a 2nd try and it was much improved. It's still very noisy but not as bad in the back! It is on the pricier side.
