We invite you to visit our restaurant and get to know our high-quality cuisine.River View is an established Chinese restaurant which offers excellent authentic Chinese cuisine specialising in seafood and dishes such as Crispy Aromatic Duck.We also have a large and varied collection of fine wines available.Situated in a converted warehouse on Wapping High Street on the Thames. Its spacious settings have a warm and relaxed atmosphere with exceptional river views.Only a two minute walk from Wapping Underground.Alternatively we also offer a home delivery service within a two mile radius of the restaurant.

In 2019 Philippe and J.J. were en route to view an apartment in Shoreditch. Philippe: French and a jewellery designer, the temper mental, creative one. JJ: English well versed in dealing with difficult situations and challenging clients. Unfortunately they got lost, missed the viewing and ended up instead at The Turks Head while they tried to ring the the estate agent. The couple seated at the next table were in the middle of a heated, easily overheard conversation and it became apparent that one of the people in question was the owner, and that the subject under discussion was the decision to sell and move on and that’s where our story starts. Could this be it? We leant over, joined in the conversation and expressed interest. One week later The Turks Head was ours. The menus are built round this and dishes are prepared to order. The downside is that when it’s gone, regretfully it’s gone, but we like to think our guests appreciate that quality is everything. It certainly is to us.

Smith's of Wapping is located on the River Thames with fantastic views of Tower Bridge and The Shard.Smith's, famous for fish, was initially established in 1958 and today offers fine dining facilities.We are now open from 12pm until 230pm for lunch and 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating time is 9pm) on Monday to Thursday.     Simply the one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Service top class with nothing too much trouble, food exceptional, view over the Thames and Tower Bridge adds to the experience . Not cheap but good value because you get what you pay for. Been there numerous times and not once have I had any reason to complain. Well sourced fish in particular and an extensive choice on the menu. Highly recommended.

    An after New Year lunch treat. Food was delicious! The restaurant was quiet on a very wet Sunday afternoon however I was assured that it was no trouble to serve us and the team would have been there anyway. An excellent lunch - can’t wait to return

    I am in two minds. To keep this neighbourhood gem as a cherished secret so we can get a table or to trumpet it and be disappointed because it is fully booked. The location and dining spaces are beautiful, the menu is kept abbreviated so you know the ingredients used will be fresh and the service by Miro (last night) and Sue (from previous dining experiences) is delightful. The bread and butter, the wagyu burger with truffle chips, fine green beans, the moules… all made delicious, fresh. Merci

    Lovely food and generous portions. Good variety on the menu. We really enjoyed the chicken lettuce cups and soft fried noodles. My granddaughter enjoyed trying to eat with chop sticks. The waitress very kindly offered help and she was able to eat most of her food with them . Fabulous views. A really enjoyable experience for myself and family.
