Restaurants near Waterford Shopping Center

We had a wonderful dining experience at Midlothian Chef's Kitchen last night - from the warm greeting by the hostess to the very professional waitstaff and, of course, including the outstanding food! There were many tempting choices but we BOTH decided on the Seared Rockfish - and are glad we did! It was delicious, and moist but even the crispy skin was wonderful (I don't usual like the skin of fish!.) For appetizers, we shared the Burrata & Sourdough and the Salad of Local Greens. They complimented each other wonderfully. By the way, if you are sharing the salad, they will re-plate it for you - divide it onto 2 plates and it is certainly big enough to share! The restaurant was slammed (as could be expected with Richmond w/o potable water for 5 days and counting and we were told that the kitchen was short-handed but it did not affect the operation of the kitchen - things were served in a timely manner (and hot!)

We always enjoy our time at 1870 and the staff is so accommodating and kind!

We celebrated my husband's birthday last night and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and presented in a pleasing manner. The cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection and the sides complimented the entrees. My husband loved his night out and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special evening out.

I have dined and all of the Boathouse Restaurants in the RVA! They all come with their own uniqueness. The staff; ambiance and customer service is impeccable. Our server (Hayden) was knowledgeable of the menu, drink selections and just overall amazing, He truly attended to our every need!!

Awhile back we stopped going to Red Lobster in Midlothian because the food and service were so poor. They never seemed to recover from 2020 challenges. Even the cheese biscuits were bad. We decided to try it again last night because they offered a free meal for veterans. Everything was very good. Our waitress was professional and friendly. The food was back to pre 2020 standards. The cheese biscuits were perfect. We will definitely be back.
