This is an awesome find in Newton. Excellent food, very friendly service and a nice ambiance. Every dish, duck pate, tuna tartare, pasta with special bolognese sauce and steak was perfectly prepared, sides and salad were outstanding.

Mangia Mondays meal deal for two is a great way to sample a bunch of their dishes. Even better was the service. Our server Phil (5th grade teacher by day) was excellent. He knew exactly what to do to make our first experience memorable.

Nice cozy neighborhood spot. All our dishes were excellent and reasonably priced. The menu has a variety of options and several daily specials. Not too loud- it was easy to carry on a conversation. Highly recommend for a casual, cozy dinner with friends.

Our first time here since it changed from Lumiere and we will be sure to go back. Very friendly service at the roomy bar. Had a perfect dry martini and the quality of the wine is top shelf. The caesar salad with swordfish skewer was perfect, the arancini, big and melty and the mussels were a good size portion, perfect for sharing. The staff aims to please and you can tell since there were many repeat customers. A perfect place to hang out or catch a drink or bite before a movie across the street at the West Newton Cinema. And the amazing part? $1 oysters from 3-5pm daily, nice and cold and well shucked. Thank you!
