First time here and was a good experience. One dislike, It was pretty busy and I wish the tables were spaced out more, didn’t leave a lot of privacy for conversations and intimacy. So we hurried through our meal! I only ate from the salad bar but everything was delish! My husband did the meat and said everything was amazing! He really enjoyed the bacon wrapped filet mignon! Our waiter was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! Overall good experience!

Great restaurant - the food is always fresh and some of the best pizza, salad, & gelato around. Definitely recommend!

Couldn’t have asked for a better valentines evening. Pretty frequently when myself and my young daughter go out to eat I feel we’re dismissed but staff here were excellent! Our server Allison was knowledgeable of the menu and super friendly. Everything we ordered was worth coming back for again and when we had a special visitor at our table my daughter was thrilled to find out it was the chef! The atmosphere, the food, and the people all make the perfect dining experience and I’ll definitely be back!

Always a delight to dine here. Food was spectacular, and service was attentive but not overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our experience without feeling rushed. Always take advantage of the two free wine samples to help decide what to have a glass of with dinner!

Our recent visit to Gandy Dancer in Ann Arbor was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance is charming and nostalgic, with large windows overlooking the train tracks. During our meal, a train passed by, adding to the charm and making for an unforgettable moment. The food was outstanding. I enjoyed perfectly seared scallops and shrimp atop a creamy, flavorful risotto, while my wife had a delicious salmon dish with seasoned broccoli that was cooked to perfection. Each bite was rich in flavor and expertly prepared. We also indulged in some fantastic cocktails, which were well-balanced and refreshing. To top off the evening, we shared a decadent chocolate truffle cake, which was pure bliss—rich, velvety, and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made our experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a special celebration, or simply a great meal in a unique setting, Gandy Dancer is a must-visit in Ann Arbor. We will definitely be returning!
