- AAntoinetteKansas City / Kansas •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe’ve been coming here for my husbands birthday for 5 years. My husband says they have the best steak out of all steakhouses in town! I always get the pork chop because I absolutely love it! Everything about them is wonderful from the food, to the service and the ambiance. We’ll be back next year I’m sure!!More infoJ. - DDaynaKansas City / Kansas •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our first time at Verbena. The atmosphere was lovely. I am gluten and dairy free. The server was well versed in what menu items were gluten and dairy free or could be altered to be gluten and dairy free. The food was delicious and presented very nicely. We will go back. I can't believe we waited so long to try Verbena. Highly recommend.More infoVerbenaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Kansas City•4.8
- RRonDenver / Colorado •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had our first filet mignons in years—one medium rare, the other medium well. Both were perfectly prepared and served with excellent mashed potatoes and crisp asparagus. We had delicious cocktails and Caesar salad to begin and finished with crème brûlée and coffee. The server was attentive and responsive. It was an exceptional experience.More infoTavern In The VillagePrice: Moderate• American• Prairie Village•4.6
- JJaniceVIPKansas City / Kansas •117 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAnother delicious visit to this hidden gem. You could order with your eyes closed and still love your choices. Because it’s a small room, people can choose to focus only on their group or enjoy one another’s company. We met a young couple having lunch there for the first time and exchanged our thoughts on favorite dishes. A lovely Valentine’s Day experience.More infoCafe ProvencePrice: Expensive• French American• Prairie Village•4.9
- MMasonKansas City / Kansas •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI had the grilled tuna as my main course and it was perfectly seasoned. The purple Japanese sweet potato really brought everything together! My girlfriend had the lobster tail with pasta and bacon, and she loved it too. The pasta had a sweet aftertaste that was delightful! She also did some wine sampling of the sweet wines. She liked them but for $15 you’ll only get 3 wines that are 1/3 full. We both then tried a tart pie that we didn’t really enjoy. The first bite tasted like raw orange peel, it was very bitter. The orange peel taste stays around but isn’t as extreme as the first bite. So if you don’t like tart, don’t get their tart pie (not the actual name but forgot the name).More infoWandering Vine at The CastlePrice: Expensive• American• Shawnee•4.6
