- MMarkvipCincinnati / Dayton •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy birthday was on the 9th so we were using the birthday credit and also picking up some wine that was in my bullpen. The meal that I ordered was a Chef recommendation of the butternut squash and lobster and shrimp. The sauce was excellent and the meal was delicious. The sauce was so good that I asked for more of the bread to soak it all up and have that to finish off the meal. Then we each ordered a $4.99 truffle and those were a hit to send us home. Wow!!!More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Liberty Township, OHPrice: Moderate• American• Liberty Township•4.6
- AAngievipCincinnati / Dayton •37 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful dinner with great friends. We all ordered different items--steak, chicken parmesan, salmon, short ribs--all were delicious! Biscuits brought out first were fantastic--warm, moist & perfect with the butter. Portions are good-sized, and everything was as indicated on the menu. Server was attentive, and manager checked on us to make sure all was good. Nice & cozy environment decorated nicely with live entertainment. Was loud at first as other table had some boisterous folks, but it tapered down after they left. Don't think we've ever had a bad meal here. Will definitely be back.More infoCozy's Cafe and PubPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Liberty Township•4.7

- KKellyChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe happened upon Jags by pure happenstance tonight, the night before Thanksgiving, while traveling to family for the holiday. We were stuck in traffic on 75N and decided we didn’t have it in us to make it all the way to Fort Wayne. 11 hours for a normal 6.5 hour trip is just ridiculous. We booked the Staybridge and I booked a bar reservation at Jags thanks to reviews here, not even realizing it was in the same parking lot! What a fortunate surprise! From walking in the door, to our experience with Dan and his colleague, a lovely gal with rooster earrings, but I can’t recall her name for the life of me, everything was absolutely phenomenal!! The crab bisque, filet and crab cake, the sides, the CARROT CAKE! The espresso martini the Weller CYPB…all of it top notch! Don’t even hesitate or question it. Just go!More infoJag's Steak & SeafoodPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Chester•4.9
- MMitchellCincinnati / Dayton •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe visited for our 35th anniversary dinner. Communication leading up to our arrival was very good. We walked in the door at 7PM for our 7PM Monday night reservation and were taken right to our table after a quick coat check. Our waiter was very friendly and got to us immediately. Her timing throughout the evening was spot on. We ordered the Millon $ deviled eggs as an appetizer, two of their 6 oz filet dinners, creme brulee sweet corn (divine!) and a bottle of Stag's Leap Pinot Noir. The eggs were four presented and dressed on a long, narrow platter. They were good but a little bland for our deviled egg tastes. The creme brulee corn was the star of the show. Highly, highly recommend this dish. The whipped potatoes and asparagus accompanying the steaks were excellent and cooekd just right. Our only let down were the steaks themselves. They were good, but Jag's or The Precinct are several points above these. For dessert, we passed but they brought us some strawberry ice cream with a cookie and a card signed by everyone working. We also stopped at the bar on the way out and tried their Horse Soldier old fashioneds. Good, but not $23 each good. Overall the meal with tax, tip and the bar visit was around $400.More infoSOB SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Liberty Township•4.7
