Lovely restaurant … beautiful decor, excellent service, well trained staff and great steaks. We had potatoes au gratin and they were delicious. I was not as impressed by the creamed spinach. Excellent crème brûlée for dessert and loved the fresh berries on top! All and all worth a visit. Make reservations but know that u must use a credit card to reserve a table!

Our experience at 1870 was excellent. The menu offered a variety of selections for every palet. My wife does not eat meat, but she had numerous options to choose from, and all were delicious. The wait staff was on the mark; attentive, courteous, and the flow of the meal was orchestrated beautifully from start to finish. While a bit pricey, the overall value was very good. We are thrilled to have a top caliber restaurant right here in Midlothian.

Skyline was an excellent choice for my birthday dinner. My husband and I were seeking a new restaurant and happily discovered it. The atmosphere was delightful; not overly formal, but refined and stylish. While I'm not a food critic, our meal was superb. My husband appreciates a well-prepared shrimp and grits dish, and I have a similar fondness for salmon; we were both extremely satisfied. The food's flavor, portion size, and presentation were all exceptional. The staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient. I cannot recall our server's name, but her service was outstanding! We will certainly return and recommend Skyline to our friends. We eagerly anticipate enjoying the rooftop dining area in the springtime. A perfect discovery!

I have dined and all of the Boathouse Restaurants in the RVA! They all come with their own uniqueness. The staff; ambiance and customer service is impeccable. Our server (Hayden) was knowledgeable of the menu, drink selections and just overall amazing, He truly attended to our every need!!
