Al and Alma’s Supper Club was founded in 1956 by Al and Alma Quist. During the day Al was a firefighter and the Mayor of Island Park, at night he cooked the best food on the lake!     Always a great experience at Hazelwood; excellent food, attentive and smart service. Timing one's visit is crucial, though, because the restaurant fills at about noon and the noise can be extreme. Still, it is a great place to bring visiting, or curious, friends. We'll be back soon!

    Excellent wait staff, high quality food. Wildfire delivers a consistently excellent experience. We had the dill crusted walleye, which for us is a bit different presentation than we would usually find in restaurants in this area. Very nicely done, with the crust not overpowering the fish and the lemon butter sauce complimenting it so well. The au gratin potatoes were delightfully cheesy. Creamed spinach is not for everyone but we like it a lot. Enjoyed the berry crunch dessert very much. This is one place that we come to for special occasions and we’ve never been disappointed.
