- AAmberNew Jersey •15 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was a fantastic choice for my boyfriend’s birthday! He was delighted with the decorations, the diversity in food choices, and impressed with the authentic yet unique flavors! Service really enhanced the experience and yes, I purchased a birthday package for which I’d highly recommend. Thank you for helping make this birthday man’s special day so memorable!More infoJarana New Jersey - Peruvian Cuisine & Pisco BarPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• East Rutherford•4.8
- SSteveNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoEverything was superb. Really fun and interesting atmosphere. Live music, feels like a classic NY Italian family restaurant. Tagliatelle was fantastic as a Primo. Scungili salad was the special which was excellent. Best pork chop I’ve ever had (with potatoes and hot peppers). My wife had the shrimp and she loved it. Would recommend very highly - on par and even superior to top Italian restaurants in Manhattan and the Bronx.More infoBareli's Restaurant - SecaucusPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Secaucus•4.9
- MMichaelNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Alright, buckle up, because I’m about to spill the beans on Matisse 167 in East Rutherford. This isn’t just dining—it’s a full-blown gourmet experience that hits you in the taste buds like a symphony of flavors orchestrated by food gods. From the moment we sat down, the staff was next-level exceptional, anticipating every need like they had a crystal ball. Keith, our server, was the MVP, making sure everything was flawless. Seriously, this guy must moonlight as a mind reader or something. And then there’s Greg—the chef. Oh man, this dude’s not just a chef; he’s an artist with a side of wizardry. He came out into the dining room, checking on everyone like a culinary superhero. By the time we finished our four-course Michelin-star-level meal, all I wanted to do was shake this guy’s hand and thank him for putting together a dining experience that went way beyond anything I could’ve dreamed up. Every bite was like winning the flavor lottery. Pro tip: it’s BYOB, so grab a bottle (or three) of your favorite wine and prepare to have your culinary socks knocked off. Matisse 167 isn’t just a meal—it’s an event. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a standing ovation. Go there. You’re welcome.More infoMatisse 167Price: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Rutherford•4.7
