- SSandeepVIPChicago / Illinois •107 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTragic start to NYD considering the Bourbon St attack. Brennan’s opened late, we called to confirm our reservation too. Cindy & Sheldon were great. We went w/ Sheldon’s recommendations - Eggs Carpaccio (our fav), Oysters, Eggs St. Charles + Owen’s Scotch Egg. Definitely, we did the Banana Foster. The Musicians were a great addition. We had a better experience here vs Mr. B’s Bistro last night.More infoBrennan'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.8
- LLauraBaton Rouge / Lafayette •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoI want to start by saying that the food and service was good. The atmosphere was excellent although the music was a tad loud. I feel like calling the experience "fine dining" is a stretch though. The table setting wasn't properly spaced or set for fine dining. The waiter was friendly and had a great personality but talked too much and too fast. The uniforms for wait staff and hostess were also a little sloppy for an experience billed as fine dining. The appetizer had good flavor, but by the time it reached our table, it was cold and the pastry crust was soggy on the bottom. The soup course arrived at the table cold and completely lacked flavor. A little shake of salt helped a bit, but not enough to redeem the dish. The four remaining courses were all on point with excellent flavor, temperature, and presentation. Overall, it was a good meal and with a little tweaking could be a true fine dining experience.More infoLatil's Landing RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Baton Rouge•4.7
- CColleenNew Orleans / Louisiana •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Our group of six had a lovely lunch with quick and excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers — gumbo, salads, and crab cake. The entrees were all good from burgers to eggplant Napoleon to redfish. The restaurant had beautiful Christmas decorations, so the whole experience was a highlight of our day.More infoThe Carriage HousePrice: Expensive• Creole• Baton Rouge•4.8
