- AAndrewWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoService was exceptional. I ordered a filet mignon wrapped with bacon but the bacon was burnt so caused the entire steak to taste like charcoal and although i had ordered a medium rare, the meat was dry. My fiancee had ordered a filet mignon with garlic and it was perfect. The mac and cheese was just average but the lobster bisque was good.More infoPerry's Steakhouse & Grille – Richmond - Short PumpPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Dumbarton•4.6
- GGeorgeVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Tobacco Company is a Christmas Eve tradition with me. My soon-to-be-wife and I celebrated there the first time in 1998 (because it's was one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Eve back then, and there was no way we could get together on Christmas Day). This tradition has continued unbroken ever since, 23 of the 27 dinners being at the Tobacco Company. The missed years? Three due to the fire, and 2020 was take-out from another place due to COVID. Last night's meal was the usual: Absolutely excellent. The New York Strip was cooked to perfection (they understand 'rare'), the service was professional and prompt, and the ambience was . . . . . well, what I love the Tobacco Company for. Definitely coming back next year.More infoThe Tobacco Company RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Richmond•4.6
- JJPVIPVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThank you for yet another amazing dining experience at Rio. I brought my family this evening for our Christmas celebration. We may have started a new tradition. We enjoyed every moment, and I offer special kudos to the hostess/server, Amanda--who always shines so brightly, you have to wear sunglasses to be in the same room with her! Thank you, Amanda, for your warmth and sweet, welcoming smile. And thank you so so much for providing this lovely venue, Val. And I'm also grateful to you, Emilio, for the fabulous wine. Wishing you all continued success and the absolute best in the New Year...More infoRio Brazil SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Glen Allen•4.8
- SSuzanneVirginia •98 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI had high expectations for Stella's based on all of the positive reviews over the years and Stella's totally lived up to the expectations and, in fact, exceeded expectations. Our server Hannah knew the menu quite well and was able to make on point recommendations to us about the food and the beverages. She did a great job describing all of the specials to us. The portions here are large so come hungry. You will get your money's worth!! The first page of the menu is meze which can be shared. I saw several people get the saganaki which looked delicious and provided a fun viewing since it comes out on fire. The next page is full of traditional Greek dishes. I had the salad on special as my appetizer - spinach, toasted pita, almonds, pomegranate arils and cheese. Delicious and huge - we could have shared it. My entree was the pastichio but over pasta. Also huge and yummy. Our dessert was the chocolate ouzo moussed. SO GOOD. I can't wait to return to Stella's.More infoStella's - RichmondPrice: Moderate• Greek• Richmond•4.9
- PPeterVirginia •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 3, 2024This was an annual special event opportunity to dine in the tea house. The food was wonderful. Part of the treat of course is that it is held in the middle of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden during their winter Gardenfest of Light. The gardens were beautiful to look out on while enjoying a wonderful meal. This is also a fundraiser for the gardens, which we love to visit.More infoLewis Ginter Botanical GardenPrice: Expensive• American• Dumbarton•4.1
