Valentine's Day 2025. Food and service were phenomenal (as has always been my experience). Although the menu was similar (if not an exact replica) to what was offered in 2024, the food is so delicious and there are enough options offered that they could keep it the same for 3 years and you'd still have options to try something new. One key "rave" is that last year they had no non-alcoholic beverages to offer, but we were both pleasantly surprised and extremely happy that they heard our feedback and had a few non-alcoholic options available this year, including a non-alcoholic virgin champagne which was *very* good. 10/10 would recommend, and would of course come back for more.

Not my first time at L’Ardoise; I love it here. For Valentine’s Day, the Prix Fixe menu was especially wonderful. As always, food, wine, and service were excellent. However, I must rate this at four rather than five stars as my partner has a gluten allergy. I noted this on the reservation and again when the restaurant reached out to me to confirm my reservation. I wanted to be sure the Prix Fixe menu would be okay for him. Since the restaurant did not mention anything about it in response, I assumed all would go off without a hitch. Unfortunately, once we sat, the server went through the gluten-free options with my partner and it was pretty limiting (off of an already limited Prix Fixe menu). There were only three options for Appetizers, Entrees, and Desserts to begin with. For the appetizer and entree, he had only one choice. Luckily, two of the dessert options were GF, so I chose one and he chose the other so we could share them. He also could not have the amuse-bouche, which was sad, because it was divine (silver lining: I got to eat his, so I got two). The server and team were sympathetic and offered sincere apologies, which I appreciate. However, my partner was (rightfully) frustrated by the lack of options. It did not ruin our Valentine’s Day dinner, but it certainly impacted it in a negative way. I hope moving forward that L’Ardoise will consider gluten-free folks and incorporate more options for them (or at least be more vocal in the reservation process when guests indicate food allergies prior to sitting down to a Prix Fixe menu that is $120 a person). The staff was kind and the complimentary dessert wine they sent was appreciated. I am leaving this review with sincere hopes it will make a positive impact on how the restaurant operates moving forward, not to be a complainer. I do love L’Ardoise and hope to be back soon, though I do hope that next time will be even better (especially for my partner). Thank you!

Fabulous new discovery. A new goto place for dinner. And, the prices are reasonable. Only minor issue was that it took a long time to get the check.

Had a wonderful time this past evening. The food was excellent and while it's a side, the spinach was amazing. We both really enjoyed ourselves and the pacing of the dinner and experience was perfect. A little pricey on the wine side (not a lot of reasonable options), but otherwise we had a great time.

We brought my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. (we were a table of six). My father—a retired school bus driver who never wants to be a bother and rarely expresses excitement—audibly gasped upon taking his first bite and declared he was eating the best chicken of his life. That moment was the highlight of the evening! The food was absolutely marvelous, and the kind, accommodating, and patient staff made the experience even better. They were attentive without being intrusive and ensured our entire group felt welcome. This charming neighborhood gem offers top-notch cuisine in an inviting and intimate setting. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience with warm hospitality, L'Ardoise is a must-visit!
