   Review: Disappointing despite good food We had dinner at this restaurant, and while the food was good, the service was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we waited more than 30 minutes before someone took our order, and no one even asked if we wanted an aperitif. The wine was served at the same time as the food, and no one checked on us during the meal. Despite the presence of a sommelier, we had to wait to have our glasses refilled. Regarding the seafood platter at £90, one of the clams was not open, which is unacceptable for such a price. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she simply replied, "OK, do you want us to cook it again?"—which we found completely inappropriate. Finally, after our desserts, no after-dinner drinks were offered, and we had to struggle to get a waiter’s attention just to ask for the bill, leading to another long wait. In summary, good food, but the service was far too slow and inattentive. A disappointing experience.

   My partner and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Le Pont de la Tour last night. We rarely eat steak but the Côte de Boeuf is amazing and a real treat for us. Not to mention amazing cocktails and delicious deserts

   What a depressing restaurant. You enter into a large bar area (completely empty of customers or staff) The manager on duty was excellent whereas the remaining staff were poor and in particular the female responsible for the wine was both surly and offensibly rude. The menu is small and underwhelming. In general poor quality food and the kitchen lacks skill as well as offering jersey potatoes in February when they are not in season and not available,unforgivable! Overall,none of our party of 8 would consider returning but based on a Friday night dinner with only 4 tables occupied it’s quite likely that this restaurant will not survive. This is a great pity,as it used to be a fantastic restaurant but now it bears no resemblance to its former self.

   Food is very tasty and great selection on the fixed menu. Though noticed the increase in price and removal of glass of wine which was previously offered, shame… Nice touch at the end to celebrate special occasion so we were grateful for that. Staff was very professional and attentive. I would actually say they were Too Attentive with topping up water, asking multiple times if the food was good etc. We had to stop our conversations multiple times and it felt quite invasive. I know it was with good intentions but would suggest on calming it down a bit. Ambience as always very special.

   Very disappointing evening. Uninspiring food, stingy portions, lacklustre service, extortionate prices and zero atmosphere on a Saturday night. The restaurant had a depressing end of days feel about it. Pont de la Tour is resting on its once good reputation but clearly needs a rethink on all fronts. I won’t be going back.

    first of all when someone requires a table whith a view because is a special occasion, why would u give them them most hidden table! did they do that in purpose?! then the waiting time for a waiter to bring a menu was more than 20 min each time , the atmosphere was dead as after a while they even stoped the music , all the stuff disappeared, it took me 20 min to ask for a desert menu, and then 20 min to find someone so i could ask for the bill. im completely disappointed, as we paid £330 for 2 people, and was absolutely not worthy!
