It was a nice dinner, however for the price we thought it was cheap to expect two people to share a small appetizer. It should have been one per person. Apple pie was too small but good.

Been going here for 35 years. We were there the last two Valentines. Never again. Did Valentine’s Day. Checked website several times to see if Special menu. Never showed up. Upon being seated, were handed special menu with “$155 pp” printed at top. That’s plus alcohol and tip. That’s $400! At that point, it’s Valentine’s Day, you’re trapped and they knew it. What an awful way to treat customers. In addition, my wife’s tenderloin was barely edible- tough and grisly. Totally dishonest experience, and the food quality fell well short of what we’ve experienced over the years. Shocking - from one of our “go to” restaurants.

Fabulous service - attentive & professional staff - superb atmosphere. Our soups were both great - the vichyssoise (served cold) was nearly the equal of what my wife makes & that is praise indeed. Our entrees were perfect, veal medallions & the steak frites. I was disappointed that the Crepes Suzette was not flambe - lesson learned. We will be back.

We ordered the special lobster tail. It was like rubber and I told the waiter it was overcooked. The waiter was spread too thin and couldn’t give you the kind of service a place you expect. Too many things went wrong and the check was $300 dollars. I’m very disappointed! Rebecca Hale 520.488.7102
