Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favourite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

This was my fourth time visiting the restaurant, the last time being 10 years ago. The food and service ended up to a great experience. If you’re looking for an inexpensive restaurant, this is certainly not it, however, if you’re looking for an overall wonderful experience, I highly recommend it

Our server was very busy. It took a while to get a second drink, but our server was talking to his customers who wanted to engage in conversation with him. Will definitely be back

We had high expectations for this expensive restaurant and went to celebrate a milestone birthday for one of our friends. Overall things were quite good, the food in particular, but the service lacked polish; a disappointment for an establishment of this caliber. We chose to bring our own wine and paid a hefty corkage fee for the privilege. The server opened the bottle, placed it on the table and walked away. We had to pour it ourselves. Odd. We have a pet peeve regarding busboys (or gals) using language like "are you still working on that?" (fine dining should not be work), and "anything I can grab for you here?". In general, nothing should be cleared before all guests have finished eating. Two rounds of wine glasses were never removed from the table, even before dessert. Very long interval between the entrees and dessert menus even being offered. The server complained that the entire dining room had been filled and all tables given to him. Generally speaking it was still a good experience, but not up to the expected standards. We'd give it a B- because of the service issues.

Very disappointed. Had to wait over one hour to get our first course. Had to constantly ask for service. Long wait even after asking for normal service items. The food was good, but far from outstanding. Best part was the Floating Island which is exceptional. Have been to this restaurant many times. My opinion Is that is inconsistent.Mostly have found it to have excellent service and food. Unfortunately, yesterday at Brunch this was not the case. Also, to note there were many empty tables. Please improve.
