   The food was so delicious (had the beef bourguignon), our waiter was absolutely fantastic, but not a good spot if you want to have a conversation with more than two people (we had a business holiday lunch for 7). However, I'm coming back for the first two reasons listed.

   Had my early Christmas lunch with my husband today at LB. It’s our yearly tradition. We both ordered the beef bourguignon, one of their classic dishes, which is consistently fantastic. Service was friendly, pleasant, and professional. We love this restaurant. My other favorite dish is their Niçoise salad. Best in the Bay Area!

   My friend and I were disappointed to see that the trout almondine was no longer on the menu. But we tried the sole instead, and it was even better! Presented over a bed of perfectly sautéed spinach with a lemon buerre-blanc sauce, it was heavenly! Highly recommended!

   One of my favorite places in San Jose. Very nice in the summer evenings outside and cozy inside in colder or rainy weather. Especially like the appetizers menu, my most often ordered dishes are charcuterie and fondue. Husband enjoys escargot. Today we were sitting at the table facing side windows, it was not crowded and created solitude experience, which was perfect for the occasion.

   We spent over $300 for a group of 4 celebrating a birthday. Adding a $2 charge for the birthday scoop of ice cream is annoying more than anything. Food was tasty, fondue was good with the blended cheese. Service was okay but nothing memorable. Felt rushed at the end when he was going on break or leaving.

   Everything was great except the noise in the restaurant. It was so loud that we could not hear each other speak across the table. We literally had to yell at one another in order to hear each other. Yikes!!

   I always enjoy coming to Left Bank at Santana Row for a nices hot meal that is delicious. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case last night. Our food was tough, cold, and bland. This is not the usual experience I have had with this restaurant, so maybe it was just a rough night. These were also signature dishes, so I was shocked and surprised.

    They were able to seat us earlier by a half an hour which was great, the food was tasty but the pork chop was gristly, service was a little slow, especially trying to pay.
