   Everything was amazing. My fiancée had a great time for her birthday. The ambience was perfect, the service was great, and the food was well priced and tasted delicious. Highly recommend to anyone!

   Excellent service and food! Chef prepared my tenderloin exactly how I wanted and it was the best filet I have had in Richmond!

   Expensive but knew that from previous visits. Food was good. Service got slow. We seemed to have got a back room on this visit. Would recommend as long as you’re comfortable with prices. Already have reservations for repeat visits.

   The collard greens, chicken and beef tenderloin were amazing. Perfectly prepared and served by an attetentive waiter. The chocolate gateau (cake) with vanilla ice cream was spectacular.

   Excellent food and service in an exquisite setting. Took hubby here for his birthday. We both had the Rockfish which was superb! The crab cake appetizer is the BEST crab cake you will ever have. Ask them about the "secret" ingredient!! Fried oysters with the country ham were wonderful as well. Nice size oysters!! They also have a wonderful cocktail menu.

   This was my husband and my first time to Lemaire. We specifically scheduled a time to visit The Jefferson Hotel during the holiday season. It did not disappoint. We arrived at the hotel and found the parking lot easily. We took a ticket (to be validated at the meal), and we entered the lobby. We were greeted by the host and taken tour our seat within just a minute or so. The ambiance is perfect. Low lighting, but not so low that you can't read. The music is perfect, allowing for conversation to take place without having to yell, but also providing a nice background sound. Our server was Candi. She greeted us warmly and in a friendly manner. We ordered the Caesar salads which were delicious. The best I've had in a while. We ordered the chicken breast to split. It came with an apricot wild rice and sauces. These were all amazing! No critiques. We also ordered a side of the mac and cheese, which was delicious as well. We each had two glasses of sparkling rose to celebrate the day (January 1st) and finished with the chocolate caramel gateau. Candi was pleasant and helpful the entire time. She was friendly and interesting, asking us questions about ourselves and making conversation. All in all, this was a great experience. We even talked about it being an annual event for us.

   We visited for NYE dinner, so it was busy! The hotel was absolutely beautifully decorated for Christmas. Service was great, just a little slow, which is fine and was totally to be expected on a major holiday. The hostess was so sweet and our server was very nice. Great wine list. Our food was really good. Particularly the fried oysters app was the best we’ve had. The entrees were great (rockfish and chicken) but a little pricy and I think the rockfish was a tad overcooked but it was still good. I would definitely dine again, it’s great for a special occasion and seeing the historic hotel is just an experience itself.

   The fried oysters were much too salty. The rice with the chicken was mushy although the chicken was good. My wife's salmon tasted "fishy" like it was too old.

    Lovely New Years Eve dinner date. Quiet and no one ever rushed us out. I was surprised that the tables weren’t packed, but that made it so enjoyable because it was quiet and private and romantic. Our waitress provided helpful recommendations and the food was excellent and well-portioned. The festive cocktails were enjoyable. Loved the cheese board for dessert! Highly recommend.
