Wendy, is this one of our favorite restaurants! The shrimp with Angel hair pasta dish is my personal favorite, as is the lobster bisque. The service is always excellent as are the beverages. if you can hit the patio on a nice weather day, it is one of the nicest in the city.

We love going to Lindey’s! Service was a little off last night. I had called and requested one of two tables and when we arrived, the hostess tried to seat us at the table right by the front door. When we were seated at our requested table, our waitress handled glasses by the top where one places one’s mouth. Yuck! I had also requested a birthday dessert for our guest, but that never happened. Sigh. At least we all enjoyed our entrees and were able to visit at our quiet requested table!

Cocktails, appetizers and food was outstanding as always. Our server was above and beyond attentive. Would have preferred not to sit by the hostess stand, the servers kept contributing to our conversation.

Well, I’ve been going to this restaurant since Sue Doody opened it. I’ve come to expect only the finest food and the best service in the city. The service was excellent. I am shocked at what has happened to the nut crusted chicken salad. The chicken was as thin as the crust was. It was dried out; I could barely cut it with a butter knife. The salad was so bitter and so unimaginative that I could only eat part of it. The granny Smith apples that used to be in a beautiful row of slices are now just tiny little bits of apple in the salad The omelette that my friend ordered was extremely small and plated with no imagination. I have been to diners in Columbus that serve a better omelette with more more appeal. Her fruit salad was mostly blueberries. She doesn’t like blueberries,so she really didn’t eat much of her fruit salad. It will be a long time before I consider coming back for lunch. I have had better experiences at diner with the quality of the food. The Keylime pie and the crème brûlée were excellent.

I love coming here. I have celiac disease so it’s always a little hard going out to eat, but Lindey’s is always so fantastic. I have never had a reaction after eating here. Our waitress tonight was extra amazing and helpful. This is our go to spot for special occasions and visiting family/friends. Never change Lindey’s!! P.S. if you ever start to make gluten free bread and pastries in your bakery you will have customers in this area!!!! I will be your #1 customer!!!
