About the restaurant
For one of the best new restaurants in D.C. and arguably the best sushi in town, head to Sushi Hachi. Visitors can choose from a selection of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. Sushi Hachi is high quality at s very affordable price. They are my go to take out spot and I’m always pleasantly surprised when I go in person. Their special rolls come in smaller orders, which also means a lower price tag. So, if you’re indecisive like me, that gives you some room to try a few. If you go in person, the hot stone beef is a must. For the price point, quality, and presentation, it’s definitely worth and that value is hard to come by in DC. I find the quality of the fish excellent, and, as such, any of the sashimi options are a great and reliable choice. Can’t recommend this place enough. DC needs more restaurants like it.

I had a great experience at the high top tables by the bar. Joia took excellent care of us. It was a great first visit for me and my dad. We shared a salad and a pizza. Joia made sure the salad was split before it arrived at the table. The food was very tasty. Very pleased with our overall experience.

We love Circa. We visit one every time in DC. Great menu variety, nice selection, not overly upscale but still very nice and our teen kids like it too. Definitely worth a visit.

Julii is a real gem! The interior is wonderful with much natural lighting. The music was mostly jazz and very relaxing. Not too loud. I started with the Alsacian tartine. The portion was generous and the cheese and fruit (apple?) went well together. Delicious. For my entree, I ordered the lamb tajine and it was delicious with many layers of flavor: apricots, couscous, pine nuts, goat cheese, succulent lamb. The portion was generous and I had to bring some of it home. Our server, Grace, was wonderful. She checked on us at least a couple of times. Service was fast and courteous. I’ll be back to try more of the items on the menu! Overall, my experience was very positive.
