We absolutely love this quirky and quaint restaurant/bar/themed, venue. It's not cheap but not over priced either, the quality of food is good, the ambience is excellent ,service is always good. I have been to cheaper cream teas,but I think you get what you pay for when it comes to a cream tea. Definitely recommend it, there's something about this restaurant that works

Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. Absolutely fantastic on every count. The service, the atmosphere, and importantly, the food. Could not fault it at all. Wanted a great meaty restaurant to take my vegetable hating husband to on his birthday. Someone at work had recommended Blacklock so I booked it. We’ve been to Hawksmoor a few times and loved it, so our expectations were high and it did not disappoint. Staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Attentive to exactly the right level. Food was sensational. We had the Prime Rib (700g) and a bacon chop, plus fries. So good. Deserts were also lovely- bread and butter pudding and 698142 cheese cake both fabulous. We then had a tipple at the bar on the way out. All excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

Visiting from London for Christmas it was top of our list to try. And let me tell you, first visit to Bucks Bar did not disappoint. Food was fantastic. The chicken wings just fell off the bone. An unusually impressive restaurant. As a double Michelin you know the food will be exceptional, and it is - amazing work M. Bosi. But it’s the entire team and service level (professional, friendly, knowledgeable and unpretentious) that makes this venue a stand out. Just discovered this little gem in Marylebone. A small venue serving great food and an excellent wine list at reasonable ( for London) prices. I had their pork chop - served already sliced and smothered in an eclectic vegetable medley with a sumptuous sauce. Wife had the Pollock that had a seasoning I would love to learn how to replicate plus another great vegetable medley. Wait staff extremely attentive. Overall a great experience and a very welcome addition to our London restaurant preferences!

Been twice in the last week. Had to go back a second time as the experience was so good the first time. The second time did not disappoint. First time was a date, second was with Mum, Nan and Son. Everybody loved Harry's. The food is great, staff are very attentive without interrupting your evening. Nothing is too much trouble. Its a very popular restaurant for good reason. This was only our second or third time we've eaten out on Christmas Day...one was in Orlando, USA but unfortunately not very good. The last one was at The Boxwood in London in 2005 - one of Gordon Ramsey's Restaurants and absolutely wonderful. The meal in Pinion was approaching that of The Boxwood - very, very good. Every single one of the Staff, from Chefs to 'Servants' was first Class with not a single mistake all evening - outstanding considering it was understandably sold out and very busy. This Staff were all young, but very professional and efficient indicating excellent training. The standard of the food was consistantly excellent and the time between each course was perfect. So it's congratulations and thanks all round to each and every one including the 'owners' . I'm sure we've eaten with Open Table before in the Freedom Tower in New York, and that was exquisite as well. Four very satisfied and happy Customers.

Outstanding meal. We had: Pan-fried Scallops with Chorizo Gravlax Seafood Mixed Grill Whole Lemon Sole Each course was exceptional, particularly the scallops and the Lemon Sole. In 1976 local musician and entrepreneur Harvey Platt had the idea to bring a slice of America to Norwich after working for and with the American war machine in South East Asia and a later visit to San Francisco to meeting up with former musician buddies.
Harvey had the opportunity to purchase an old café caravan situated on Castle Meadow Norwich next to the old cattle market.
Zaks opened in May 1976 serving the now famous chargrilled burgers in the “Original Zaks Caravan” wrapped in tin foil and cooked fresh to order in the American tradition.
If it is an authentic American dining experience you are looking for then Zaks is your kind of place. Burger, ribs and chicken are standards on our menu. Add to this succulent steaks, amazing desserts and a huge selection of authentic drinks (including shakes).

MERE is husband and wife team, Monica and David Galetti's first restaurant.
Spread over two floors, this Fitzrovia-based restaurant is the brainchild of Monica Galetti who is featuring as a judge on the BBC's MasterChef The Professionals.
The restaurant itself serves a variety of traditional Pacific Island delicacies that have been delicately created by Monica and Sven our Head Chef.
Nestled above the spacious basement restaurant is the bar, managed by our Mixologist Glenn, which serves an array of delectable cocktails.
Monica's husband, David , is in charge of the Front of House at Mere with his Restaurant Manager Eugenio, and using his years of experience as an expert sommelier to create a wine selection along side his head Sommelier Alex that perfectly balances with the seasonal dishes on offer.
