Calgary is home to some of the top restaurants in Canada. There are several traditional restaurants that have been part of its food scene for decades. These restaurants have a faithful following and serve recipes that have stood the test of time. Known as Stampede City or Cowtown, this city has its share of steakhouses and burger joints. Some are traditional while others have a more modern take on the world of beef. I had a lovely birthday celebration here with my family. When we got to the table, I was welcomed with a cute birthday card signed by the staff. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. Only downside was that we found our area to be slightly too loud in terms of crowd noise. But overall a wonderful experience. Definitely a must when in Calgary

Excellent service! Steak was good but wouldn’t say it was the best we ever had. One member in our party had salmon, found it very good but it was a rather small piece. Since a rather pricey restaurant,not one we would go to often. Probably just for a special occasion.

This was a surprise. It is a well established place, but nailing that tomahawk to perfection was a hugely welcoming surprise. Best tomahawk ever, and not only in Calgary. I guess four day marinading and other magic must take place, still we treasured every bite. Broccolini and mushrooms were great as the sides; stake tartar was perfectly balanced; the salmon crudo had a beautifully balanced marinade but was a touch off. The tying part for it was Tasha, she was fantastic, full of energy, leaving us with the image of our new best place to go to! Thank you all.

First time at Native Tongues while visiting Calgary. We’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food inside and outside Mexico and wow is this place good! The Papas Norteñas which is delicious but extremely filling. I recommend sharing a bunch of dishes family style your group to try a bit of everything. We would definitely return.

The food at ten foot Henry has always been consistent and is always delicious every time we come and we’ve been coming here for yearssssss. We tried two new to us dishes as we always order our usual ones and they were both pretty good!! We had the Henry salad, tomatoes and sourdough, spaghetti, the chicken and butterscotch pudding. We were happy with all of our choices. The service was amazing - from the hostess to our server. They were so accommodating to my requests and I look forward to my next visit.

Front desk was awesome in letting us pick a great spot to sit. It started the night out well. Wed was a super great waiter and we had some good discussion and advice from him. He was attentive in checking on us as we went along and answered all of our questions with helpful suggestions. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the night very much. Stopped in for a business dinner. Pizza was fresh and fantastic. Service was outstanding, water was filled and timing on appies to dinner was perfect. Top it off with dessert we shared Nutella Cheese cake and homemade tiramisu. Thanks for another great experience.
