Calgary is home to some of the top restaurants in Canada. There are several traditional restaurants that have been part of its food scene for decades. These restaurants have a faithful following and serve recipes that have stood the test of time. Known as Stampede City or Cowtown, this city has its share of steakhouses and burger joints. Some are traditional while others have a more modern take on the world of beef. Chairman’s is one of my favourite restaurants ever. Where do I even start… The ambiance is beautiful, whether it’s the lake views or the decor everywhere you look there are beautiful details (the menus softly light up when you open them and every bathroom is a bidet as well). The service is next to none, thoughtful and kind staff and again every detail is thoughtfully curated throughout your entire dining experience. We had Dany as our server and we just loved him. So respectful and friendly, he really gave us a great experience. The food… wow. Consistently incredible and made with so much love and care. There is not one thing I’d complain about at this restaurant other than the fact that you won’t find such a well rounded and consistent fine dining experience anywhere else and it ruins you lol.

Our server was amazing, the food was delicious and we enjoyed a spectacular view of downtown. We started off with the drinks, the major tots and lobster roll hor dourves, rigatoni pasta, and finished off with the old baked Alaska dessert. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and highly recommend for a date night.

First time at Native Tongues while visiting Calgary. We’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food inside and outside Mexico and wow is this place good! The Papas Norteñas which is delicious but extremely filling. I recommend sharing a bunch of dishes family style your group to try a bit of everything. We would definitely return.

Mty happy hour visit was better than I expected. The server was attentive and had a wonderful sense of humour. The food was delicious (fish tacos and yam fries) and were great value at the happy hour prices. I thoroughly enjoyed the cherry porter and my guest enjoyed her IPA and happy hour red wine. We appreciated that we were able to stay for just over two hours enjoying our drinks, food, and conversation. Highly recommend SpotOn for happy hour.

Amazing little place! Randomly went out with three friends for Christmas and we couldn't have been more impressed. Dom, the owner joined our table and was just delightful. The ambience is energetic and high spirited and the music choice is awesome. The drinks are quite unique, generously poured and delicious. We will definitely be back,!

Food and space were excellent as usual. Our server was very keen to remove our plates, including taking plates with food still on them and also taking a plate from one of us who still had a piece of bread in his hand and was enjoying sopping up the leftover sauce. This was more amusing than annoying, but was unexpected given the level service we have received at previous visits to The Coup.

On a relatively quiet Sunday, our dining experience at The Eden was simply wonderful! Street parking in Inglewood was free and the post-Christmas lull in activity was a perfect setting for our first visit here. We started with a delectable cheesy raclette paired with amber ales. This was just the right appetizer to get our taste buds going. For entrees, we had the French Onion Tarte which was flavourful and the perfect serving size. The Pappardelle was delightful and very tasty. For dessert, we imbibed in Pain au Chocolat and Frozen Soufflé. Both desserts were thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was rather chill. Not too busy, which was perfect for us. And our server, Coral, was very attentive, professional, and friendly. Would highly recommend The Eden, and will likely return to try other offerings, such as their burger, in the not-too-distant future! A must visit for foodies!

Stopped in for a business dinner. Pizza was fresh and fantastic. Service was outstanding, water was filled and timing on appies to dinner was perfect. Top it off with dessert we shared Nutella Cheese cake and homemade tiramisu. Thanks for another great experience.
