Wonderful brunch at Red Bird. We enjoyed the service and the food very much. It is so nice to relax and enjoy good food in a beautiful setting without feeling rushed. The menu is a great mix of sweet and savory items; the portions are ample enough to share if you feel like a bite of both. Looking forward to returning soon.

What an amazing spot! The atmosphere is absolutely electrifying, making the whole experience unforgettable. The staff? Super attentive and incredibly friendly—they truly make you feel special. We recently moved to the Central Coast in CA. We often go to Santa Barbara for its restaurant scene. On my wife’s birthday we wanted something special and we were drawn to Stella Mare, with its classic French with a twist menu. We were blown away! Cannot say enough about the food, great housing in a Victorian home, and unparalleled service. The mushroom soup was perfection as was the apple, endive, pecan salad local blue cheese and light vinaigrette dressing. The coq a vin was perfectly seasoned and the meat fell off the bone. The salmon with cauliflower sauce was incredible. We were full but couldn’t resist the French Beignets which were heavenly and different from the normal Beignets. The only issue you better go now because the restaurant is slated to close Dec 31. Don’t miss the opportunity!!

The staff was so welcoming and professional. The ambiance is incredible, sitting outside you can see the ocean or be in a small garden setting. Every little design detail is perfection. We ordered a smoked cocktail and the way they present it is so unique and fun! The food was delicious and timing and portions were just right. They easily accommodated my dietary restrictions and brought amazing gluten free bread for me. Our group was really happy with everything. Plan extra time for your visit to walk around the grounds as it is unbelievably gorgeous! It is expensive but well worth it for the experience!

The food, service and ambiance were exceptional. This was our first experience dining at Poppy and Seed. I strongly recommend trying everything on the menu. My favorite starters were the Squash Blossom and ceviche. The mushroom side included asparagus spears and snap peas, very tasty. The garganelle pasta was cooked al dente and had the right ratio of sauce and protein. We ordered five main dishes and I enjoyed the half chicken, the duck and the braised beef the most! The ingredients were fresh and the taste of each entree were unique. Our meal would not be complete without the gelato and brown butter waffle. The four different flavored scoops of gelato sandwiched between two crispy and airy waffles made for a delicious treat to end the evening. I can’t wait to go back again.

It was our first time there, and it will not be our last. The food was phenomenal. The handmade pasta was superb. Excellent cocktails, too. Our server, Jonte, was gregarious and so engaging. Can't wait to go back, and also to take the pasta making class!
