Our list of the Most Popular Restaurants for Outdoor Dining highlights spots offering delicious food, beautiful views, and above all, incredible outdoor dining experiences. The list spans restaurants coast-to-coast and is determined by verified diner reviews.

Dining With Us:
Our restaurants are upscale-casual dining destinations, designed for intimate gatherings for parties of 2 to 4. In order to seat your party comfortably, we have very limited seating accommodations for parties of 6 to 8 guests. Parties over 6 will be sat when they have completely arrived. Walk-ins are welcome for parties 8 or less. Patio space is not available for reservations.
We request that our guests dress tastefully, in business casual or semi-formal attire. Parties arriving more than 10 minutes late will be moved to the wait list

Both Timed Admission Tickets for Gardens entry and 1906 reservations are required; limited availability for 1906 reservations. Buy before you arrive! Go to https://tickets.longwoodgardens.org to purchase timed tickets or to make Member Reservations.

When making a reservation, choose Standard for a main dining room table or Outdoor for seating on our outdoor deck in Spring/Summer and in our Heated Enclosed Patio in Fall/Winter. Please note that our outdoor seating is not heated in the Spring. If the only selection presented is "Outdoor", our main dining room "Standard" is fully booked.

When making reservations, please include all members of the party, including small children, even if they will be seated in a highchair or not dining.

I've been going to Anis Bistro since it opened. I love how they've perfected their menu over time, and the food, wine and service are consistently excellent. It's always a lovely trip back to France -- without leaving Atlanta!

The food was divine and the ambience was very energetic. We sat in the garden this time and it was such a beautiful space. It’s a great place to catch up with old friends and take your time conversing. All the staff were also really sweet and understanding so if you’re running a little late like we were, just let them know and they’ll try their best to accommodate.

The only restaurant in San Diego better than Cesarina is Cesarina at Christmas time. The food and service are as good as you can find anywhere but the already beautiful space is taken to the next level with their stunning and spectacular decorations for the holidays. Cesarina is a MUST any time of the year, but especially so at Christmas.

The food and the service were absolutely wonderful. The wait staff was very attentive and very quick to refill water glasses and provide what we requested. We highly recommend the Columbia restaurant always. The town of celebration has a bad habit of closing up the streets in front of the restaurant and the downtown area every Thanksgiving and every Christmas causing major parking problems. If you book the restaurant during these times, you may need to make sure that you get there very early to get a parking space.

Beautiful atmosphere, great service, and the food was delicious. My one request would be to add a vegetarian entree to the menu. I ordered dips, salad, and side dishes which were all very good, but would love to have the option of a full entree. Perhaps a veggie tagine or vegetable kebabs over rice?

What a beautiful experience! The food was absolutely incredible; the flavors were out of this world. Portions are small and expensive so definitely save for a special occasion. We had the four course menu plus a dozen oysters and the croque madame between two and were still hungry but we’ll still definitely be back due to the quality. The service was wonderful, the open kitchen added to the atmosphere and the decor was lovely. I did get chilly inside due to the door being left open so keep that in mind when deciding what to wear. I can’t wait to try the other restaurants under the same Ownership group!

In speaking with our waiter I realized I’ve been delighted by dining at Ches Francois for 40 years. We arrived at 6:00 pm and shortly after being seated my wife and I were greeted by the owner, Chez Jacque. I congratulated Jacque in celebrating the Haeringer family’s 70th year owning and operating Chez Francois. (there was a large stand alone plaque at the entrance announcing the 70 years) Jacque’s comment when I congratulated him was, “yes two generations of crazy restaurateurs”. I could not argue with him. Only absolute dedication, commitment and tireless energy produces the wonderfully amazing results this family has delivered decade after decade. Every bite of food I’ve ever eaten at Chez Francois has been a culinary delight. Every meal I’ve had (I estimate in the neighborhood of 150 meals) have been absolutely enjoyable. Our name, which means “little dream” in Italian, was chosen by partners Tony Priolo and Ciro Longobardo because it had always been their dream to open a restaurant of their own. “The restaurant fits our personal goal to get to the heart of Italian wine and food,” says executive chef Priolo. “You go to Italy for simple food prepared by hand with local ingredients. We wanted to bring that experience to Chicago.”

Piccolo Sogno features a menu of seasonally fresh rustic Italian cuisine. The impressive all-Italian wine list boasts over 400 selections to pair with your meal.

When the weather allows, enjoy al fresco dining in the hidden garden patio-regularly recognized as one of the best in the city.

Starting December 1, Monday-Thursday we'll open at 5 pm rather than 4 pm-just for the winter.

You are welcome to bring a cake to celebrate. If you do, we will charge a $3 fee per person cake-cutting fee.

Beginning January 1, all credit card transactions will be charged a 3% fee.

Sat at the bar. Very relaxing atmosphere. Had Clam Chowder , best ever , along with the Goat Cheese appetizer. Just enough and very satisfying. The Blueberry Smash was delicious - the bartender made it perfectly. Always a good meal at Rooney’s. Never disappointed.

The food at the Coast Guard house was outstanding, and the service was excellent. I had the chicken masala which was the best I have ever had. The sauce was light and flavorful. My granddaughter had the salmon which was also excellent. The waitress was extremely accommodating in the ambience was very pleasant and comfortable. Four of us had lobster, 3 as protein for salads, 1 a lobster roll. We were all very happy with the quality of the food. Our server, Nicole L, was extremely helpful.

Gaylords now rebranded as The Plantation House by Gaylords offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen. Incredible dining experience. Absolutely gorgeous setting, with impeccable service and outstanding food. We’re so pleased that we decided to celebrate our anniversary at The Plantation House while in Kaua’i on vacation. Will most certainly return on future visits to the island!

It was my birthday and they treated me and my wife like we were part of their family, food was great and the desserts amazing. I didn’t care much for my drink but my wife loved hers, so it was a matter of taste. I think the evening was super and our server was wonderful! Worth the cost and mile walk to get there.

Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

This was a beautiful place to have a celebration dinner. Our waitress was attentive but not hovering. Every dish was delicious and the servings were generous. The salad and dessert were enough to share. We will be back.
