We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary with high tea at the Prince of Wales, not our first time either. The rooms were busy when we arrived so we didn't get a Solarium table, but we were very happy in the large, wingback, comfortable chairs where we ended up. Staff were busy at first but very cheerful and friendly at all times, and we had a very pleasant, brief conversation with our staffer when she was less busy later on. The food was very good, varied tastes and flavours, and fresh, and the tea of course is the best you can get. Our staffer refilled the teapot, "of course, with pleasure" she said, and we appreciated the care we were given very much.
