We had a spectacular time at Civico 1845 for a Sunday night date! Having never been, we chose to make a reservation just to be sure. Upon arrival, we were seated right away and saw the restaurant was about half empty. Our table was in a cozy corner of the restaurant next to an open window - it was very peaceful and romantic. We loved the interior decor; it felt well curated and authentic without trying too hard. My husband ordered an amaretto sour and I ordered a Bellini. Both drinks were delicious! The server brought out the complimentary focaccia and pesto, both of which were super fresh and tasty. The bread was soft, chewy, and the outside was perfectly oiled and crispy. I could've eaten the pesto with a spoon. We also had the "pompette" meatball appetizer. This was just divine. Three large, perfectly cooked meatballs in a simply delicious tomato sauce with whipped ricotta. YUM! For entrees, I had the fusilli alla norma and my husband ordered the pappardelle brasato. I loved how simple my dish was, yet so full of flavor. The short rib ragu that covered my husband's pasta was so tender and again, simply delicious. Every staff member we interacted with from start to finish was friendly, kind, and attentive. We just could not believe what a great meal and time we had a Civico 1845! We are not local, so we don't know when we'll be back, which is a shame because we already are craving it again!

Had a great lunch with friends that had never been there before. We all had a wonderful lunch. It was a spectacular day, and a bonus watching all the boats on the water. One friend had fish and chips and it was the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. I had the fried chicken sandwich without the bread, and it was delicious. Everyone ate everything on their plate, aside from a few french fries. The portions were enormous and moderately priced. Sara was our waitress and we could not have been happier. She was very professional and knew the menu perfectly. She had several recommendations, which we heeded. The only downside was they charged a 5% added service fee. Regardless, we will definitely return.

We always have lunch at Pacifica Del Mar on New Year's Day. Has been our tradition for 25 years and there is no better way to start the new year. Beautiful ocean view, impeccable service, great menu selections, piping hot delicious food, wow factor cocktails...it all adds up to an amazing experience. Highly recommend. Our server Kaden was fantastic and he added to the fun of the evening. He was so attentive and really heard what we like and had great food and wine suggestions. We were celebrating a special occasion and he made the celebration even more special! Jazzie at the bar made us delicious drinks and was so fun and engaging. Our concept is drawn from our name. The word “cloak” implies secrecy, inspiring our concept of a social sphere humming beneath the levels of ordinary life. “Petal” alludes to the Japanese tradition of “hanami,” when family and friends gather under blooming cherry blossoms to savor food, drinks and fellowship.

We had a reservation which helped. We were seated outside and it turned out to he ok with the heat lamps Oddly they were out of a some drinks - no sprite, could not make a Paloma. But waiter helped us out and comped a drink to ease the disappointment. Food was great. Beer great as always. Waiter excellent and friendly despite it being so busy.

We have always loved the Brigantine. It wasn’t crowded so it was surprising how noisy it was. We were in the smaller glass walled dining area where the 4 of us could not hear each other due to the lack of sound absorbing materials. Pretty room but not conducive to quiet conversation.
