About the restaurant
Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.

Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. The second floor houses the grand Sala da Pranzo and Bar delle Carceri, named after the cells below. Il Covo degli Artisti, our third-floor space is a cosy lounge once home to The Arts and Letters Club where Canadian landscape painters “The Group of Seven” ate and drank in 1909.

We went for dinner and celebrated my nephews bday, and the service, ambiance, history of the building and most importantly, the food was superb. We started with burrata and prosciutto, funghi salad, calamari and carpaccio.. all amazing, baratta was a crowd favourite, mine was the funghi salad. Second were the pizzas, we had the sausage pizza and the goat cheese aubergine pizza…. Simply amazing, third were the pasta.. the bolognese was so delicious along with the mushroom prosciutto.. just wow. And pls have their desserts! The tiramisu and the affogato were so amazing. Will definitely go back. And not to forget their incredible wine selection !! Must try

My friend and I had a fabulous time at CIBO. The ambience was warm and inviting even though it was Saturday afternoon around 3pm, and the place was fairly empty. It did fill up by 4pm and the servers were very attentive even when things started to get busy. Food arrived in good time, drinks were amazing! Would definitely go back again and again!

Team was extremely welcoming, quick to greet, seat and serve. Sat in Lounge and had a wonderful lunch with business guest. Menu has options for every taste. Highly recommend dining with Chop.

Excellent experience. We had the Chef’s Tasting menu. Tuna Tartare, Scallops, Duck, Lamb, Dessert. Everything was delicious We were celebrating our 18th Anniversary, and we received a complementary dessert (a second dessert!) and coffee Service was great, ambiance was mostly perfect. One patron was incredibly loud, and, according to her, Jake Paul is a psychopath I don’t hold that against the restaurant, because that is out of their purview

Great ambiance, bright inside with glass walls seeing out to the street. Very comfortable and good value for a fine dining experience downtown. The food was very tasty, just a bit saltier than I'd prefer. Service was excellent. Plan to be back!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Scaddabush! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a night out. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure everything was just right. The food was absolutely delicious – the fresh pasta and flavorful sauces truly stood out. We also loved the burrata, which was creamy and perfectly paired with the bread. 4 of us went on Oct 31st and enjoyed a great meal starting with Caesar salads, then the Pappardelle pasta dish on the Special Fall menu was enjoyed by 3 of us. It didn't disappoint, was delicious and a nice size for the money. So glad they are making it a permanent item on their ongoing menu. My husband had a steak which was tasty and extremely tender. A couple of us finished off our dinner with the raspberry cheesecake, another great choice. Our server, Estera, provided excellent service with her pleasant personality.. Attentive but not in your face all the time. Overall a great dinner out at a very nice restaurant. We will not hesitate to return.

I was supposed to have lunch in a different place and saw Ricarda's on my way there. When I got to the place I really didn't like it and made a quick reservation to Ricarda's. I am so glad I did! Borealis is always a good choice for dinner while we are visiting the area. The food is always fresh and delicious. My husband tried the wild boar ragu and he said it was the best restaurant meal he's had in a long time. I had the kale ceasar salad with trout and it was so good.

When setting down the different dishes we wished the server would explain what is on the plate. Identify the different sauces etc. I gave the food a 4 as my steak had a tendon??running through it so I ate around it.

Shared a green salad with grilled salmon, and augmented it with an order of the AGO Bistro's always great french fries with aoili. For dessert, Rebecca our fantastic waitress suggested a panna cotta made from coconut and a purple tuber (Ubé?), which was like a rich rice pudding without the rice. Great lunch, great service!

Once again on our 8th Birthday Dinner for Mary, we came with happiness and left with same.The supper items we ordered the Prime Rib and side of mushrooms were perfectly presented as we ordered. The Pinot Grigio. Italian is exactly what we wanted, Ruffino's is superb. The main energy for the evening was for and from our Server Person Derek, what a catch for THE CANNERY to have him. He is a professional with all the attributes of a perfect server and greatly experienced to be sure. Derek actually made our evening and we are grateful for that. All in all and we are modest but former business types and world travelled , so when we comment on Derek we actually know what we are talking about with great joy. We like Arnold Will be Back to Cannery , which by the way is a superb dining spot. Keith and Mary
