   Wonderful experience. Very authentic Italian dishes and extremely generous portions. The bead basket is great. The bruchetta and calamari were top notch. Great service too. Worth the drive up from Princeton.

   I have been to Luca’s at least six or seven times. Each meal has been amazing, whether I have one of the pastas or pizzas. This restaurant is hands down the best combination of great food and great value that is here in NJ!

   As always, the food and the service were exceptional. From appetizer to dessert everything was delicious. One of our guests said “I rarely will take any food home from restaurants but I am certainly going to bring home whatever Oso Buco that I have left. It is really good”.

   We have been celebrating Valentine Day here for years. The food and staff are always outstanding. The chef is a genius. From the bread basket to the desert to the fancy sparkling waters this place never disappoints. The lobster dish alone is worth a trip here.

   A true dining experience. I went with a friend and his grandson for his 80th birthday. It was a Monday lunch, so there were very few people there. The service was impeccable, and the food was out of this world. From the bread, to the apps, to the entree. Their dessert special for the day was a pistachio tiramisu and it was something that I will never forget. Other reviewers comment on the prices, but if you want quality, freshness and a unique experience you should be willing to pay for it.

   Living in this area for 30 years and I can’t believe I missed this gem. Luca’s has all the charm of old world hospitality. Our server Matt was so charming and rattled off the specials from memory. They were so eclectic and added to the tastefully composed menu presented in a leatherette folio. All of our selections were beautifully plated on a wide array of serve ware. There was a variety of bread brought to the table and the calamari was light and spicy - the best I’ve ever had. Other appetizers- buratta, bruschetta and figs wrapped with prosciutto were amazing. Needless to say, the entrees were even better - chicken parm, the Luca and the pastas were cooked to perfection. For dessert I highly recommend the Pompeii. During the meal, the owner, Andrea, stopped by the table to have a casual conversation which was a nice touch. Luca’s is byo, however, they have wine to purchase from a local winery and I’d suggest making reservations! Luca’s will a go-to on my list.

    The food is very good but really overpriced. There were a lot of entrees that I would have liked to try but they were just too expensive. All veal, fish and lamb options were in the $50-$65 range and all the pastas were high $30s. I would go here more often if it was just a little more reasonably priced.
