Good vibe when we come to see the Host. Hard to find parking spot. The taste of the food is good EXCEPT the entree not hot enough. Only appetizer that the food is right temperature. Seems lack of helper or short staff, since takes a while the server come to take our entree order and dessert. The dessert is great, love their blackberry sorbet, some of us order vanilla cream bulee, chocolate chip cookie. Maybe I'll give another try.

I love Magnolia. Been going for over 5 years. However the prices lately have been shooting up and the quality going down. I absolutely love the Grilled Shrimp Cobb and Caesar Tenderloin Salad but the last 3 times I’ve ordered it, the presentation and portion has been mediocre at best. For salads that range from $24 to $28 dollars it’s so disappointing to see the quality of the toppings and presentation go down. Last night my salad looked like it came from the end of the line salad bar scrapings. And this has happened over the last 3 times we’ve eaten there. Will be looking elsewhere for a new go-to restaurant sadly.

This was the third time going to Magnolias and our least favorite. It seems as though the chef has changed because the beef pasta doesn’t taste the same. It missed the flavor it used to have. And for the amount of pasta I don’t understand how the price makes sense. The serving size has decreased too. For our anniversary they brought out the sign saying happy birthday even though I told them it was our anniversary. I hate to give it this review but I expected better with the food.

We loved being on the enclosed patio but once the lunch crowds rolled in we could barely hear each other. It was the Christmas season so not terribly unexpected but disappointing for me because I was conducting a business lunch. Will return for personal dining. The beet salad was wonderful.

The restaurant looks very festive and lovely! Some of the offerings were good; however, having been many times for brunch, there were some surprising 'off notes' this time. It seemed perhaps someone tried a new recipe for the biscuits and gravy as the biscuits were flatter and seemed to have been baked with an excess of butter - definitely not the flakey, gravy absorbing kind that are usually on the buffet. The sausage gravy in the past had a hint of zing and there was no zing. The bacon was definitely greasy. I struggled to cut the friend chicken with my knife (husband told me it was more finger food). The worst was the waffle, which I should have realized when grabbing a piece with the tongs - it was quite solid and inedible. Still, a lovely, unique restaurant and may have just been timing or who was at the helm that day. Would still recommend!

A wonderful way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The fried green tomatoes are incredible, same for the tempura lobster appetizer. My wife had the scallops/shrimp dish snd I went for the French dip, both super yummy! Then crème brûlée for dessert, wow, just wow. Bonus just fifteen minutes away is the wonderful Happy Hounds Lodge where the pups played while we dined in peace.
