- HHopeDenver / Colorado •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy family & I had a marvelous brunch at Linger before our matinee of A Christmas Carol. The food was excellent. Eating gluten free and dairy free can limit our choices; it was wonderful to have a range of tasty choices. We tried the cashew queso & chips (everyone enjoyed). I had the lobster rolls, which had large chunks of lobster with crunchy vegetables. My husband had the make-your-own breakfast plate which he thoroughly enjoyed. My son had the chicken & waffles (not GF); and he too was very satisfied. Service was great; thank you, Xander! We will be back.More infoLingerPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Highlands•4.6

The vibe is energetic and fun, but not too loud to converse with your friends. The staff is also attentive and fun without being overbearing. Thumbs up!More infoEl FivePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Highlands•4.7
- LLisaSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an outstanding experience, thank you. The personnel and Brett did a great job! Very welcoming and made our birthday experience extra special. One piece of feedback would be the plating of the cavier could have been more refined and thoughtful- specifically the serving spoon was too big and the plate was too big for the proportions of cavier and condiments.More infoTavernettaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Downtown / LoDo•4.7
- BBreannaChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI took my boyfriend here while we were visiting Denver to celebrate his 30th birthday, and I’m so happy with our experience! We enjoyed the octopus appetizer, ny strip and ribeye steaks with whipped potatoes and brussels as sides. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I’m typically not a fan of octopus but it was so tender and well executed I wanted to order a second plate of it. Steaks were perfectly cooked to medium and very flavorful. Brussels were phenomenal. Service was friendly and competent, we loved that the plates were brought out by some of the chefs who also made sure to wish my boyfriend a happy birthday. We finished the meal with an affogato with brown butter ice cream, yum! Only thing I can say is that it was rather chilly inside and we didn’t love the music, but those are easily overlooked by everything else. You’re going to spend money coming here but it’s a must for a special night in Denver!More infoGuard & Grace - DenverPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / LoDo•4.8

Denver’s 5 Best New Restaurants to Try
Get ready for an influx of fresh, exciting spots in Denver to try. As per usual, pizza remains popular, but in Lakewood there’s a new Italian joint offering much more than just the pie. Discover Denver
Located just an hour’s drive from the trifecta of ski resorts—Aspen, Vail and Breckenridge—and nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains; Denver is scaling the ranks of the country’s most desirable places to live. And while Colorado’s capital city is a world class hub of winter recreations, a booming restaurant scene is on the rise, too. Brunch waits now rival those of its coastal counterparts. Sounds a little weird given Denver’s land-locked nature, but sushi is also popular here. Downtown, you’ll find Italian Trattorias, sprawling beer gardens, and a slew of coffee shops that range from pour over bars to laid-back, locals-only spots. Larimer Square forms the heart of downtown’s historic district and houses upscale restaurants fit for special occasions. On the outskirts of town, Red Rocks Amphitheater draws festival crowds for its outdoor acoustics and epic views.
