- LLoriTucson •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe loved BATA. Our excellent server gave us advice on how to order from the menu - small plates, shared with each other, great suggestions and explanations of the dishes themselves. Everything was delicious. The interior was lovely and even though the space has high ceilings, it wasn't too noisy for us to hear each other. Highly recommend.More infoBataPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown Tucson•4.7

Hostesses were welcoming upon arrival & gracious upon our departure. Our waiter was Nico. Very pleasant. The rack of lamb was wonderful as was the filet mignon. - both were prepared to perfection. We would recommend Sullivans. An observation - interesting to see how other diners dress. Times have changed. Baseball caps & athletic attire apparently is a trend that is here to stay. Sullivan’s diners should treat the establishment with the respect it deserves. ( Just sayin’! 😊) Thank you Sullivan’s for a delicious & memorable dining experience.More infoSullivan's Steakhouse - TucsonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Tucson•4.5
- LLouieTucson •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI’ve always had a goodexperience at this location, but my most recent visit was the best by far. Someone in our party had dietary restrictions (gluten and vegetarian). The manager greeted us for our reservation and I asked him him suggestions. He gave us the perfect dish suggestion. In fact, when he went into the kitchen and made sure it was going to be cooked correctly. Everyone else on staff was amazing as well. We had the best interactions with the entire team. I would highly recommend this place for every occasion.More infoCulinary Dropout - TucsonPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown•4.4
- MMilovipPhoenix / Arizona •41 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOrdered two aviators for the three of us. ate one and took the other one home. Both seemed light on the Nueske’s bacon, they were good but seemed less good than previous visits. Our waitperson informed us that they were discontinuing the Weapons Check Ale. I hope they replace it with something other than an IPA. That st stuff is worse than drinking Coors…Wimpy. Or they could keep the Weapons Check👍 .More infoDoughbird - TucsonPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown•4.7

The dipping sauce for the calamari was wonderfully flavored. Good service. Highly recommend this restaurant.More infoTito and PepPrice: Moderate• Southwest• Midtown•4.8

Discover Tucson
Considering that Tucson is the birthplace of the chimichanga, it should come as no surprise that Mexican restaurants are prolific in this city. Tucson falls right on the edge of the Sonoran Desert, and the cooking style in the city represents what's popular throughout this desert region. Sonoran dishes are typically based on beans, corn tortillas, cheese, peppers, and meat. Of course, although Tucson is distinctly Sonoran, it is also American, and that means you're sure to find a melting pot of cuisines within the city. When you're ready to branch out from Southwestern fare, try seafood or steak. Thin-crust pizza hits the spot when you want a familiar dish, and to top off your meal, homemade gelato is a local favorite.
