Best restaurants near me in Buchanan, MI

This was our first time at the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful! The service was really good! The food was excellent! It was my husband’s birthday, and they treated him like a king! Wonderful spot in South Bend!

John was awesome from the time we sat down until we left. Christy who is my normal server which I love dearly had no room so I couldn’t have her made a point to come see me and checking on me. I now have a second person if Christy is unavailable. Thank you John for taking such good care of us.

Rohrs is always a delight. Christmas and we dis not want to cook. We had prime rib that was phenomenal! Such a treasure to eat there.

We had a very nice time. The food was great. My husband’s steak was not medium rare so they quickly made another that was. It was delicious. We are interested in coming to a wine dinner.

Our family of vegetarians/vegans enjoyed a Christmas Eve early 4pm dinner upstairs overlooking the street---such a great table! Although there is usually only one veg/vegan main option offered, the veg sides we ordered as one meal were deliciously-seasoned, perfectly-cooked and yummy (brussels sprouts, cauliflower and french fries). The vegan offering on the main menu of shitake and wild rice was unique and possibly the best vegan entree I have ever had at Cafe Navarre. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful with menu options we could eat and suggesting adjustments chef could make, and attentive at a perfect level. Wines were great; my vodka cocktail was tasty but seemed a little light on the vodka. A very pleasant experience as always at Cafe Navarre :)
