Long thought to be the building where our entries namesake was held as a prisoner before being hung in Cornmaket, The Jailhouse as it is now known has been frozen in time for the last 70 years nearly forgotten about completely. Restored as part of the Joys Entry project, the aim was to keep as much of the original character of the building as possible. Really great experience. Went on Valentines Day and I left it late to book. The staff were superb. Busy restaurant but we were very well attended too. The food was superb - a unique take on the classics. Thoroughly recommend.

We were here lunchtime for valentine's day,staff were helpful and service was great,my wife ordered the chowder as a main and it was best ever and ceaser salad was excellent as well, waitress was good at offering to take a picture of ourselves and new baby son.

Fantastic little place,venue was lively and great country music playing over the sound system. The menu although limited was absolutely out of this world. The drinks were all local and the staff lovely and attentive. Highly recommend this place.
