The O Convite Restaurant has been run by the same family for nearly 50 years. It is the main restaurant of Dom Gonçalo Hotel but it is open also to non hotel guests who may enter the restaurant through a direct and separate entrance. A personal familiar touch is visible in every detail, in a careful management or in the fragrance of fresh flowers placed everyday at each table. Chef Emília, who founded the restaurant, has left a legacy that the current Chefs honor: they choose the best ingredients from local suppliers starting by the fresh fish that arrives daily from Nazaré beach, and add the fresh herbs from the hotels aromatic garden. The result is that this Restaurant has been highly reviewed for many years and it has been featured in the latest Michelin Guides as offering a Very good standard of service.
