Scrumptious lunch! The duck breast was delicious and the pear and apple salad that accompanied it was a delight. I highly recommend. Service was professional and considered. All in all, a wonderful experience, which I hope to repeat soon.

The restaurant is in a fabulous location and was a pleasant drive from Richmond. The town is very picturesque and historic. The Whisky distillery can be observed from the restaurant. Whisky tasting before our delicious lunch and bought a nice bottle for Christmas. The service and attention was impressive. Highly recommend the drive out. Book in advance so you are assured of a table after making the drive out to Oatlands.

We booked for our anniversary and we had to drag our baby along so added for a high chair. On arrival it was there ready to go. Complimentary sparkling for our anniversary. Service was fast and friendly. Someone was always there when you needed them. Food was amazing, portions are on the smaller side but for lunch its a good size and good for sharing

We were a group of 4 women, 3 from Victoria here for the Melbourne Cup long weekend. We went to Frogmore for lunch the previous day which was a wonderful experience. We understood Bangor would be different. We loved our lunch, the whole experience; the staff were fantastic, the ambiance very pleasant and the food was delicious and portions very generous. We ordered mains each and 2 sides and a dessert to share. We couldn’t finish it! Our only comment was that perhaps in the combination of dishes we ordered, there were perhaps a too many elements. This was most evident in the green salad and the baked potatoes with the fish main. Thanks for a lovely experience. We’ll be back.

4 of us had a lovely meal here. The waiting staff although young were very attentive and helpful, the food was lovely (standard price for a restaurant meal) and they had a big wood jet going which was just wonderful in the Tasmanian winter. All in all a great place to go for a meal.
