Our dinner last night was totally different ( positively amazing)! We started downstairs at the Copper Room Bar (great drinks and great ambiance and very versatile bar tender). We then upstairs to the restaurant and was given a choice table and an additional scotch which we had in the Copper Room. The dinner ( veal shanks and a wedge) was absolutely delicious! We were treated to ice cream and homemade carmel sauce ( again very yummy). The Hotel Sutter Restaurant has renewed our faith in coming back. Thank you staff at the Hotel Sutter Restaurant. My filet mignon was cooked just the way I like it! Seared on the outside and a perfect medium on the inside! We had the toasted pecan cheesecake for dessert! Every meal was cooked correctly, nice presentation, and had great taste. Servers were very good, but a longer wait for the food was probably going to be expected as there was a large group in the "party room" as well as the restaurant was very busy.
