Wonderful service. Thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary meal. I was really impressed that I was able to have a dessert today. I have difficult food intolerances and sometimes it can be an issue when it comes to a dessert. However today, I had the most wonderful dessert. So thank you. My day has been made. We always enjoy coming to The Ivy. Would highly recommend.

My first experience of this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Food excellent, service brilliant and atmosphere was great. Prices are a little more expensive than other pubs but it’s worth it. The only thing that had a grey cloud was the moaning couple behind us that had nothing wrong with their food but wanted to moan for the sake of it. The staff handled it really well.

Attended the evening of Thursday 13 February 2025. Nice surroundings. Taken straight to our table. Plenty of waiters. Unfortunately our waiter, while adequate, wasn’t as attentive as we noticed others were. We waited approximately 25 minutes between the starter and the main which we thought was a little excessive. An optional side was not delivered with the main and had to be re-asked for. Food was excellent, not budget but worth the overall cost. Service charge included in the bill and was not questioned, because despite the above minor negative points, was happy with the overall experience and will eat there again.

What a very pleasant evening that was. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and upon arrival we were each treated to a complimentary glass of fizz. After cocktails, we shared a French onion soup to start, which was delicious. We then shared a board of cheese and meats. Choosing the cheese takes quite a while as so much to choose from, but we didn’t feel rushed at all. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the food and were very helpful. I must also say how lovely the staff are, we were made to feel very comfortable. The wines range in price from reasonable to incredibly expensive, we went for reasonable, and the wine was delicious. Oh, and then a complimentary anniversary dessert was presented to finish. A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable evening. If you want a treat, then this place is definitely worth a visit.
