- DDonnaVIPNew York City •63 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLove Salt so much. Been here many times (had a few birthday parties here as well), and it never disappoints. Last night we had the Kale-Romaine Caesar and the Salt Coastal salads to start. I used to get the Palm hearts salad which is also very good, but since I tried the Coastal salad with its capers and radishes and lovely, light vinaigrette, I’m hooked. We had the Blackened Tuna (a special for the night), for which my husband asked for a bit of kick to the spice, after our server told us it was very mild. Turned out perfectly seasoned and was a beautiful piece of tuna. Mine was the cast iron Chilean sea bass with tomatoes- also perfect. I finished with the special dessert- pineapple upside down cake with a scoop of caramel gelato. Heaven on a plate. Also, I cannot say enough about the amazing and pleasant staff, especially our waiter (wish I could recall his name!) and everyone one else who brought and cleared plates and filled glasses. We recommend Salt to everyone we know.More infoSalt Seafood & Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• New Brunswick•4.8
- KKhairahNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMatty was attentive, funny, kind and completely on point. We did not get the maitre d’s name but he was gracious as well! We decided to end the night at the bar and Josh and Jack (I think) were the absolute BOMB. The piece de reasistence Was. The. FOOD! For the table, oysters, lobster r dumplings, hot mess fries and calamari - omg, phenomenal. Brisket on the fries was a bit dull but still good. Then we individually had Filet Mignon & lobster, porter and lobster (not good, traded up for the filet) shrimp and scallops and salmon. We will be back once we recoup on the market what we spent last night but overall would do it again and again. - AAngelaVIPNew Jersey •20 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 2, 2025We were greeted by the host when we arrived in a very friendly manner he acknowledged that it was our anniversary and that we wanted a private table away from everyone else which was given to us. Our waiter was very good and attentive. I thought the prices were a bit high. The onion soup was underwhelming tasted kind of bland. The mixed vegetables were closer to raw than they were till al dente other than that the meal was excellent nice big helping of potatoes in large portions of the meat that would be enough for my dinner tonight and my lunch tomorrow and probably even a little left over after that the salad was a standard salad with blue cheese, and it was an additional charge for the salad the onion straws were excellent. Service moved along it just the right pace. We were too full to order dessert. The only thing that I did not like is that if you wanted to use a charge card or debit card, there was a 3% charge to do so I think it’s a great place for special occasions. It was a bit noisy in the dining room, even though it wasn’t that crowded I could hear all the people Speaking in their conversations, even though we were in a back corner by ourselves. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it for anyone celebrating something special. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy and abundant.More infoFresco Italian Steak & Seafood GrillPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Brunswick•4.7
