Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.     It was 8pm on a Sturday evening, it was raceday ay Haydock Park and the front of the pub was bouyant. We were sat in the dining room which was warm and friendly we could hear the DJ but easily speak to each other. The food was very good, and served by an excellent polite and friendly Waitress. One of us had steak for mains medium rare and it was, the other pork belly mash on greens which was very good. Staff gave us just the right amount of attention. And were nice and prompt with drinks for us In all a great start to a Saturday evening, Thanks team Pied Bull xx

    Food lovely as usual , extensive choice ? Love it here only drawback is the front entrance door, when staff leave or enter they leave the food to slam! It shakes the booths near the doors & is VERY loud. Perhaps a soft closing /spring hinge would do the trick guys 🥰🥰
