Mount Beauty Restaurants

We had a lovely lunch with old school friends… Beechworth was a great mid way point from where we all live. A mate had always wanted to try a tasting paddle so we all enjoyed that. The gourmet pizzas were amazing… loved the garlic cloves melting in my mouth, sharing the blue cheese n apple & pepperoni with a the yum hot sauce, the margarita with fresh basil. The staff are friendly & prompt. Food came in good time too. Sitting outside on a cooler summer day enjoying kombucha & memories was gold! They have the best icecream & the desserts looked great… but we opted for a walk picking strawberries at Beechworth Berry farm which topped off our wonderful day perfectly!

I don't trust this booking website or the restaurant didn't check I'd amended the amount of people attending. Therefore, there wasn't a big enough table set up for our group. We said ok to going out side to a large table that'd be shared with another group. That's fine, but we were asked to move to the part of the table that wasn't set up yet. The waitress said the other group had booked and I said that I had as well. The other group hadn't arrived yet so I didn't see a problem with them setting places at the other end of table for the group who hadn't arrived yet. I felt we shouldn't have had to argue this case a couple of times before problem was resolved.

Great pub, fresh fabulous food. Great craft beers, good selection wines and soft drinks Staff are really friendly and welcoming, only downside was being told tables in the paddock are reserved for a bridal party but guests were due 12pm, it was 1pm, told by staff member if you sit there and late guests turn up we’ll have to kick you off their table ……. We sat elsewhere, we left around 3pm and bridal party tables remained empty….

This is our second time visiting since new ownership and it was better than the first time. Friendly staff, knew how to explain the menu , great service , food was amazing, great flavour, not too spicy so the mini adults ate it too. Definitely recommend!
